I'm pretty sure there is no practical reason to have a weathervane, but I like them anyway. Here are a few I saw while walking around town:

I liked the witch on the broomstick one in particular. Did you see the residents and do they look abnormal or does the house itself have other oddities?
Most of the houses and people look fairly normal. All things being relative, of course. See previous posts for other ways in which the neighborhood architecture is odd and therefore awesome. I have lots more pictures of other quirks which I will work up into blog posts at some point.
